Main functions and uses	L(+)-Tartaric acid is widely used as sour agent of beverage and other foods. It can be ued in wine, soft drinks, candy, and bread. L(+)-Tartaric acid can be used as chemical resolving agent by taking advantage of its optical activity. Moreover, it can also be used in the synthesis of tartaric acid derivatives as chiral raw material; as catalyst for finishing polyester fabrics and resins and as PH regulator for oryzanol production, and etc.
